Bio: I’m a perpetually wandering nomad and cosmopolitan who visited 200 countries before I turned 30 years old. It´s debatable whether or not there even are 200 countries, but I´ve got atleast another 30 to go, so count them all. And who cares really, traveling is about the journey, not the destination.
Travel Philosophies: Not all who wander are lost; No greater burden can a traveler bear than wisdom (Havamal); We must be the change we want to see in the world (M. Ghandi); The World has enough for man´s need but not for his greed (M. Ghandi); Youth is not wasted on the young, wealth is just wasted on the old; Aspire not to have more, but to be more (Oscar Romero); The question is not what you look at, but what you see (Henry Thoreau); The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears, or the ocean (Isak Dinesen); Think globally, act locally; Carpe diem – you may die tomorrow.
About this blog: I started this blog in 2009 with Dohop.com, an Icelandic based travel-booking website. While we have gone our separate ways, I still use Dohop to find the cheapest flights and hotels, and Dohop Go! is the most genius impromptu travel booking search engine – just type in where you’ll start your journey and when you want to go, and it will show you all the direct flight options filtered by price.
